Explosion-proof ICE–EFFECT lamps are lighting equipment intended for use at facilities with explosive zones, i.e. with zones in which an explosive gas mixture is present or may form. Based on this, special equipment is required in such zones, during the design and manufacture of which special protective measures are observed so that this equipment cannot ignite the surrounding explosive environment. You can find out explosion-proof equipment by marking, which contains the letters "Ex". Lamps of this type can be designed for a particular explosive zone, this can be understood by the marking of the lamp. There are three such zones in total: zone 0 is the most dangerous, choosing lighting equipment for it is not an easy task. Zone 1 and zone 2 are the most common types of explosive zones.
